Job summary

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) is seeking a Personal Care Worker for Home Care in Katherine. This casual, ad hoc role involves travelling to clients’ homes to deliver personal care, domestic assistance and meal support.

A full, insured vehicle is required and visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants should have a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field, with preference for those who completed the medication assistance elective.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability or Home and Community Care. Preference given to applicants who completed the ‘Assist Clients with Medication’ elective.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes to provide care and support in a home environment.
• Perform personal care including grooming, showering, mobility and assisting with meals.
