The Great Southern Hotel Sydney is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team in a casual capacity. You will manage smooth check-ins and check-outs, and deliver prompt service while handling guest requests and coordinating with hotel departments.

We value a warm, well-presented approach, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Flexible AM/PM shifts on a rotating roster (including Public Holidays) are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Reservations and Reception.

The Great Southern Hotel Sydney (GSH-Sydney) is a busy heritage-listed hotel located in the heart of Sydney's vibrant entertainment district, offering 176 rooms, and maintaining an occupancy rate of 99%. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, Central Station, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centres. The Great Southern Hotel is currently seeking a well-presented individual to join our Front Office team in the Casual position of Guest Service Agent.

About the role:

As our Guest Service Agent, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out of guests in a timely manner
• Delivering prompt and efficient service when attending to a variety of guest requests
• Effectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and operational requirements are achieved
• Answering calls in a professional manner
• Informing guests of all facilities and services in the hotel

About you:

The successful candidate must have:
