Job summary

Alivio Tourist Park Canberra is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our Front Office Team on a casual basis in Canberra. Flexible morning, middle, and afternoon shifts are available, with 2–4 shifts per week on a 7-day rotating roster during the December/January peak period.

Responsibilities include checking guests in/out, handling enquiries by phone, entering bookings, and supporting light restaurant duties when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception or front desk is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and handle guest inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and manage reservations.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest enquiries.
• Enter new bookings into the database and update guest records.
• Assist with in-house guest needs and various administrative tasks.
• Support light duties in The Verandah restaurant, including POS usage, espresso preparation, cleaning and greeting guests on ad hoc basis.
