Job summary

Goodstart Ocean Reef is hiring a Casual Educator to support its centres and children with flexible shifts across Monday to Friday. You will contribute to the learning program, supervise children, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

The role requires an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification and a WA Working with Children Check. Travel between local services is expected, with hours from early morning to early evening, and access to resources and induction support.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification required.
• Current WA Working with Children Check required.
• Willing to travel between local services; flexible availability Mon–Fri, 6:30am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Pay: up to $48.29 p/h (based on experience) + super
