Inner West Council is seeking a Governance Officer to support governance, policy development and compliance across the Council. You will coordinate meetings, assist with information access requests and contribute to internal audit activities.

This varied role offers the opportunity to work across policy, compliance, information access, audit and governance projects while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
You’ll be involved in everything from coordinating key Council and leadership meetings to supporting policy development, statutory compliance, information access requests and internal audit activities. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and making a meaningful contribution to Council's effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Please note that opportunities are available for two (2) permanent positions and two (2) temporary positions up to September 2028.
$85,842.12 - $94,968.64 + 12% Superannuation
