Job summary

Port Broughton Hotel in Port Broughton, SA is seeking a passionate Casual Chef to join the kitchen team. You will support food preparation and service in a busy pub environment, working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver quality meals.

Responsibilities include cooking to a high standard, assisting with stock, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a pub, restaurant or fast-paced kitchen.
• A passion for quality food and great hospitality.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• The ability to remain calm and focused during busy service.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including nights and weekends.
• A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

The Role
