Job summary

Hurley Hotel Group is seeking a casual chef or cook for approximately 30 hours per week at The Ivory Waterside Tavern and Marina Tweed Heads. Open seven days with flexible day/evening/weekend shifts, public transport access, and free on-site parking.

The successful applicant will have an apprenticeship and a Chef trade qualification, experience in cafe/bistro/restaurant service, and strong food safety, hygiene, and plating standards. A hands-on, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed an apprenticeship and hold a Trade Qualification as a Chef.
• Experience with a la carte cafe, bistro or restaurant food service.
• Experience with deep fryers.
• The ability to work calmly under pressure.
• A high standard of food plating and presentation.
• Have knowledge of relevant food safety requirements.
• Exceptional hygiene and cleaning practices.
• A hands-on approach and 'can do' attitude.
• Flexible work availability across weekends, days and nights.
