Azad Building Pty Ltd T/A CityScape Homes is hiring full-time Carpenters in Warrenheip, Victoria. Join our team to deliver high-quality carpentry and construction work, with emphasis on safety, workmanship, and project efficiency.

Role requires Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry. You will measure, cut, install timber components and collaborate with other trades to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Azad Building Pty Ltd T/A CityScape Homes is seeking experienced and dedicated full-time Carpenters to join our team in Warrenheip, Victoria. This role is critical to delivering high-quality construction and carpentry work while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, safety, and project efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, assemble, and install timber and other building materials.
• Perform structural carpentry work, including framing, wall and roof structures, flooring, and other timber components.
• Construct and install doors, windows, frames, skirting, architraves, and other internal and external fixtures.
• Undertake general carpentry, fit-out, renovation, and construction work as required.
• Set out and prepare construction areas in accordance with plans and project requirements.
• Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required specifications, quality standards, and building requirements.
• Work collaboratively with builders, tradespeople, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Measure and estimate materials required for carpentry work and minimise material wastage.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
• Follow all relevant building codes, workplace health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Identify and report construction issues, defects, or material requirements to supervisors or management.
• Complete work within agreed project schedules while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance, alterations, and other carpentry tasks as required.

Selection Criteria

• Relevant Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the nominated occupation.
• Demonstrated experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry and construction work.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install building components.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding and fast-paced construction environment.

$75,000 - $85,000 plus Superannuation
(Depending on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.)
