Job summary

JSGRENOVATIONS Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a contract role based in Narre Warren South, VIC. You will measure, cut, shape and assemble wood components, install doors, windows, cabinetry and other fixtures in residential projects, and interpret technical drawings and plans.

You will work with hand and power tools, maintain safety standards, collaborate with trades, and provide design advice to clients. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner, ideally in residential carpentry work.
• Advanced proficiency with hand tools and power tools, including saws, chisels, sanders, and nail guns.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and cabinet making.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and best practices in carpentry.

What you'll be doing

Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wooden components according to specifications and design plans

Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, shelving, and other wooden fixtures in residential

Collaborating with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure seamless project completion

Conducting quality inspections of work to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner, ideally in residential carpentry work
