Job summary

Azad Building Pty Ltd T/A CityScape Homes is hiring full-time Carpenters in Warrenheip, Victoria. Join our team to deliver high-quality carpentry and construction work, with emphasis on safety, workmanship, and project efficiency.

Role requires Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry. You will measure, cut, install timber components and collaborate with other trades to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in carpentry.
• Residential and/or commercial carpentry experience.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials and tools.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble and install components.
• Good understanding of WHS requirements and safe practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good organisational, time-management and communication skills.
• Physically demanding construction environment tolerance.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet deadlines.
• Available to work full-time and overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, assemble and install timber and building materials.
• Perform framing, walls, roofs, flooring and other timber components.
• Construct and install doors, windows, frames and architraves.
• Carry out fit-out, renovations and construction work as required.
• Set out and prepare construction areas per plans and requirements.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work for specifications and quality.
• Collaborate with builders, tradespeople and team members.
• Estimate materials and minimise waste.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organised condition.
• Follow building codes and WHS requirements.
