Our client, YV Corporation Pty Ltd (Jain Carpentry Co.) is looking for motivated carpenters to support their business operations, Employer: YV Corporation Pty Ltd (Jain Carpentry Co.) Position: Carpenter Salary: $80,000 to 90,000 per annum plus Superannuation Hours: Full-Time Locations: Various around Melbourne suburbs, Victoria Jain Carpentry Co. is a construction and building services company specialising in the installation of lightweight steel framing systems, together with the fitting and installation of doors, windows and associated building components. We are seeking a competent and committed Carpenter, specialising in all aspects of carpentry, to join our dynamic team You will be responsible for carrying out a range of construction and installation activities in accordance with building plans, specifications, project requirements and workplace safety standards.

Key duties (not limited to) will include:

• Reading and interpreting building plans, drawings, specifications and measurements to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures.
• Setting out and accurately measuring work areas in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Installing and erecting lightweight steel wall and ceiling frames using appropriate tools, fasteners, brackets and fixings.
• Cutting, shaping, assembling and securing framing components to required dimensions.
• Checking frames and structures for correct levels, plumb, alignment, dimensions and overall workmanship.
• Installing wall frames, partitions, openings and other structural or non-structural building components.
• Preparing openings and fitting doors and windows into wall frames.
• Installing and adjusting door and window frames, including associated components such as hinges, handles, locks and other fittings where required.
• Fixing doors, windows, frames, trims and associated building products using appropriate tools and fastening systems.
• Undertaking general carpentry, fixing and finishing work associated with construction projects.
• Working with a range of materials, including lightweight steel, timber, plasterboard, wallboard and other building products.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately to minimise waste and ensure quality finishes.
• Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately.
• Identifying and rectifying defects, alignment issues and installation problems.
• Working cooperatively with builders, supervisors, other trades and project personnel to meet construction schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
• Following all relevant workplace health and safety requirements, building standards and company procedures.

Essential Requirements 1. Relevant AQF Certificate III in Carpentry and Building Construction field. 2. In absence of formal qualifications, must have at least 3 years or more verifiable work experience as a Carpenter.

3. Current Victorian white card. 4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working at heights.

6. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 7. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Do not apply if you do not have full working rights and an AQF Cert III level qualification with at least 1 year of full-time verifiable work experience as a Carpenter.
