Job summary

Bodon Homes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team for full-time residential construction work in Williamstown North and surrounding areas.

You will construct, install and finish timber components, read plans, measure and cut accurately, and work safely on site with coordination with supervisors and other trades.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of carpentry experience in residential construction.
• Trade qualification in carpentry is highly regarded.
• Experience reading plans, drawings and specifications for carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of framing, fixing and general carpentry techniques.
• Ability to measure, cut and assemble timber and construction materials.
• Commitment to safety and safe operation of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other materials.
• Construct and install wall frames, roof framing, floor systems and structural components.
• Install doors, frames, windows, architraves and skirting boards.
• Build internal and external timber structures and fittings.
• Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work.
• Install flooring and cladding as required.
• Inspect and repair timber structures and fittings.
• Ensure work is level, plumb and finished to standard.
• Operate tools safely and coordinate with supervisors and other trades.

**CARPENTER****Bodon Homes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis, undertaking residential construction work in Williamstown North and surrounding areas.****Location: Williamstown North VIC****Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)****Salary: $86,500 per annum plus superannuation****About the Role****We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to undertake a range of carpentry work across residential construction projects.
