Ishaanvi Construction PTY Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter for residential and commercial construction, specialising in framing, general carpentry, renovations, repairs, installations, and finishing work. Experienced in reading and interpreting plans, taking accurate measurements, and using a wide range of hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship, workplace safety, and completing projects efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry is required.
• Experience reading plans and working in construction environments is essential.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings and project requirements to plan work.
• Construct and maintain timber frameworks, structures and components.
• Perform framing, roofing, cladding, formwork, and finishing tasks.
• Install doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry and trims.
• Deliver high-quality completed work meeting project tolerances.
• Adhere to WHS procedures and site regulations to keep the site orderly.
• Check workmanship and measurements for compliance with Australian building standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Identify and resolve construction issues while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Task & Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, building plans, and project requirements to carry out work accurately.
• Build, assemble, fit, restore, and maintain timber frameworks, structures, and components.
• Undertake a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, cladding, formwork, and detailed finishing.
• Fit and install doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry, trims, and various construction materials.
• Deliver completed work to a high level of quality while meeting specified project requirements and tolerances.
• Adhere to WHS procedures, site regulations, and safe work practices while keeping the work area clean and organised.
• Conduct thorough checks of completed tasks to confirm workmanship, measurements, and compliance with Australian building requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to ensure projects progress smoothly and remain on schedule.
• Assess construction issues as they arise and implement practical solutions without compromising safety, efficiency, or quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate III qualification in Carpentry.
• Practical experience in building, construction, and general maintenance is highly desirable.
• Professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach when communicating with clients.

Additional Knowledge
