Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Home Care Worker to support community clients across the City East region on a casual basis. You will assist with daily tasks and mobility, building trust and providing compassionate, person-centred care.

The role requires a valid NSW Driver’s Licence, a suitable vehicle, and a current First Aid/CPR certificate. Training and flexible hours are available, with strong teamwork and community impact.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations.
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended).
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.

Responsibilities

• Domestic Assistance – Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Meal Preparation – Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
• Personal Care Support – Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Social Engagement – Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
• Transport Services – Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

As a Home Care Worker at Anglicare we have opportunities to work across the City East region on a Casual Basis.

What’s Required
