Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a compassionate Home Care Worker to provide in-home support across the Ryde/Eastwood region on a casual basis. You’ll assist clients to maintain independence, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship in their own homes.

Responsibilities include domestic help, meal preparation, personal care assistance, social engagement, and transport for appointments. Valid NSW driver’s licence and First Aid/CPR are required or willing to obtain; vaccinations are

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence.
• Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations.
• Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended).
• Basic computer and smartphone literacy.

• Transport Services – Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

Our opportunity

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare, we have opportunities to work across the Ryde/Eastwood region on a Casual Basis.

You will provide compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity. You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship. Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

What’s Required

• Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
