Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update support worker rosters across SIL homes and community services.
• Coordinate shift coverage, respond to staff absences and manage last-minute rostering changes.
• Ensure rosters reflect participant support requirements, staff availability and service needs.
• Communicate roster changes and shift allocations clearly to relevant team members.
• Work with Care Coordinators to identify staffing requirements and maintain continuity of care.
• Monitor unfilled shifts, outstanding roster requests and changes for timely follow-up.
• Maintain rostering records, including shift times, cancellations and staffing adjustments.
• Support allocation and introduction of new support workers into services.
• Identify rostering conflicts and escalate.
• Consider employment conditions, fatigue management and rostering requirements when allocating shifts.
