Job summary

Canberra Heart Rhythm Centre – Broulee, NSW is seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist & Clinical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role. You will handle medical reception, patient coordination, billing and assist with cardiology investigations, expanding your skills within a specialist practice.

You will join a patient-focused team, receive structured training, and progress toward independent practice within established protocols.

Qualifications

Two or more years of medical administration experience would be advantageous.
Cardiology or specialist medical reception experience is desirable.
Experience with Medicare, DVA and private billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage patient appointments, bookings and confirmations.
Answer calls, emails and patient enquiries while maintaining a professional experience.
Support clinical staff with ECGs and basic investigations as trained.
Handle billing including Medicare, DVA and private insurer processes.
Coordinate patient pathways from appointment to follow-up.
