Barwon Health in Geelong is seeking a part-time Clinical Trials Officer to join the Geelong Cardiology Research Unit. The role combines direct patient care in clinical trials with data collection, management and coordination of trial activities.

Reporting to the Director of Cardiology Research, you will recruit patients, obtain informed consent, conduct reviews, interpret pathology results, and educate patients and staff while supporting cardiovascular outcomes through cutting-edge research.

Qualifications

• MBBS completed in Australia or NZ or passed AMC exams.
• Eligible for Medical Board of Australia registration via AHPRA.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care to patients in clinical trials.
• Recruit participants and obtain informed consent.
• Conduct ongoing clinical review and management.
• Interpret and follow up pathology results.
• Educate patients, families and staff.
• Data collection and management; liaise with GPs.
