Job summary

Barwon Health in Geelong is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support for efficient trial operations. You will manage regulatory documentation, ensure GCP compliance, and liaise with sponsors, contributing to monitoring activities in a dynamic CSTU setting.

The role requires a tertiary science/healthcare degree or substantial health‑care admin experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• A tertiary degree in science, health care or a related field OR significant administrative experience in a health care facility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal oversight.
• Initiative and self-motivation to daily tasks.
• Demonstrated excellent organizational, problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support for the day-to-day coordination of multiple clinical trials, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance requirements in line with ICH-GCP guidelines and CSTU standard operating procedures.
• Support the use of clinical trial databases and management systems, ensuring timely, accurate and verifiable data entry.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment through effective communication, strong organisation, and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
