Job summary

Medtronic Australia is seeking a driven Territory Manager for South Australia to lead sales of cardiac surgery solutions to cardiac surgeons and perfusion teams in Adelaide. You will manage existing accounts, develop new ones, and coordinate campaigns with fast-paced technology in hospital settings.

The role requires strong relationship building, strategic focus, and deep clinical knowledge to support perfusion and blood management therapies while introducing ECMO and atrial fibrillation

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 8 years of sales/clinical work experience in medical devices.
• Bachelor degree plus 4 years of sales/clinical work experience in medical devices is desirable.
• Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities.
• Strong understanding of the public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
• Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key clinicians and other medical staff.
• Understanding of hospital labs/theatres/departments e.g., purchasing, consignment, and key influencers.
• Customer/patient focused approach and strong empathy.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Medtronic’s products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Pursues leads, assesses needs and provides product services of Medtronic’s products and/or services.
• Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
• Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
• Delivers high level of patient care and clinician service to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
