Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is hiring for an automotive motor claims assessor to join a growing insurance team in Sydney. You will assess vehicle damage, determine loss cause and work with repairers to manage repairs and claims.

The role offers eight weeks of paid training, flexible work arrangements and a fully expensed company vehicle. Excellent progression opportunities within a supportive team are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in motor vehicle assessing or repair estimating.
• Trade qualification in Panel Beating or Automotive Spray Painting is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of vehicle damage, repair methods and costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to pass background checks.

• Define repair scope, methodology and associated costs.
• Review repair quotes and reports from panel suppliers.
• Negotiate repair scopes and costs with repairers.
• Manage claims efficiently from assessment through to resolution.

Who will you be working with?

You’ll join a collaborative motor claims team supporting customers through the vehicle assessment and repair process. Working closely with repairers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you’ll have the opportunity to use your technical expertise in a role that combines assessment, negotiation and customer outcomes.
