Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a Capital Account Manager to join our Capital Sales Team in Sydney. You will manage a book of eligible merchants offered funding through Lightspeed Capital and drive awareness and adoption of our financial services offering.

You will proactively engage existing customers, deliver high service levels, build trusted relationships, and negotiate contracts to maximise growth across your territory. Strong SaaS sales experience and Salesforce proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product.
• Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships.
• Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Lightspeed Capital.
• Provide high levels of service and use sales techniques to drive awareness of Lightspeed Capital.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and identify financial service opportunities across your book of business.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow your book of business.
• Achieve sales targets by advising merchants and coordinating with the regional leader for Account Management.
• Employ business development & relationship management techniques to meet or exceed territory targets.
• Provide regular feedback and be the voice of the merchant to business leaders.
• Understand the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and communicate this with merchants with support from Risk team.
