Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce, Inc. is seeking a Capital Account Manager in Sydney to manage a portfolio of eligible merchants and drive adoption of Lightspeed Capital. You will develop relationships, negotiate contracts, and hit growth targets while coordinating with regional leadership.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, consultative selling, and risk-aware financing discussions, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and expanding the merchant base.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in financial services with a track record of high performance.
• Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships internally and externally.
• Collaborative with adjacent teams to forge valuable relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote Lightspeed Capital.
• Provide high levels of service and use sales techniques to drive awareness.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and identify financial service opportunities across your book.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to grow your book of business.
• Achieve sales targets by advising and servicing merchants and coordinating with regional leaders.
• Employ business development and relationship management to meet/exceed targets.
• Provide regular feedback and voice of the merchant to business leaders.
• Explain risk-based Merchant Capital Advances with support from Risk team.
