Job summary

A Federal Government organisation in Canberra is seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to join their team. The role provides frontline ICT support to staff in Australia and overseas, handling helpdesk requests and routine technical issues.

You will maintain ICT asset records, assist deployments and contribute to cyber security controls and continuous improvement. The position is onsite and requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience providing ICT support in Australian Government environments.
• Ability to analyse issues, assess risks and propose practical fixes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline ICT support for hardware, software, network, accounts and devices.
• Administer user accounts, systems, devices and ICT asset records; assist deployments.
• Prepare ICT procedures and knowledge articles; support cyber security controls and patching.
