Job summary

Flinders University is seeking a Campus and Space Planner to support the Campus and Space planning initiatives at Bedford Park. You will contribute to planning, space management and stakeholder engagement to create engaging, functional and sustainable campus environments.

Reporting to the Strategic Planning Lead, you will conduct analyses, assist with space reviews and proposals, and collaborate to maintain planning data. This role advances Flinders' strategic plan and student-centric facilities.

• Relevant qualifications or experience in interior architecture, urban planning and design, data analytics or a related field.

Position Description

About the Role Join Flinders University's Property, Facilities and Development team and play a key role in shaping the future of the University's campuses. Reporting to the Strategic Planning Lead, the Campus and Space Planner contributes to a broad range of planning initiatives, supporting the development of engaging, functional and sustainable campus environments through strategic planning, space management and stakeholder engagement.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Support campus planning projects across campus, space, transport, placemaking and retail initiatives.
• Conduct research, analysis and reporting to inform strategic planning decisions.
• Assist with space reviews, audits, wayfinding, and planning proposals to optimise campus environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to maintain planning data, records and documentation in line with University standards.
