Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Senior Manager – Security & Parking to lead security operations, guarding services and parking across Kensington and Sydney metro campuses. You will set direction, lead a multidisciplinary team and act as a senior escalation point for significant incidents and high‑risk events.

You will manage budgets, procurement, governance and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliant, sustainable security services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior leadership in security operations within a large organisation.
• Current NSW Security Licence (1A/2A) is required.
• Proven experience handling complex high‑risk incidents and decision making under pressure.
• Experience delivering projects within a working group with operational plans.
• Strong contractor management and service delivery oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead security, parking and guarding services across Sydney metro campuses.
• Provide strategic oversight and governance for safety and incident readiness.
• Manage budgets, procurement, tender processes and KPI performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and oversee risk management initiatives.
• Build relationships with senior leaders and coordinate cross‑functional initiatives.
• Lead responses to significant incidents and high‑risk events.
