Job summary

ICMS invites applications for a casual IT Support Officer to join the IT Operations team. Based in Haymarket, Sydney CBD, you will provide first-level IT support to staff and students, maintain devices and AV equipment, and help resolve issues to ensure a smooth technology experience.

Responsibilities include ticket management, hardware/software setup, documentation, and occasional after-hours support. A relevant IT qualification and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification or undergraduate qualification in IT or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and administration (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent IT skills with hardware-software interaction understanding.
• Ability to learn different software platforms and train others.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to staff and students in person, by phone, and via the IT service desk.
• Manage and prioritise support tickets with timely resolution and documentation.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Support and maintain classroom and event technology, including AV equipment.
• Assist with deployments, upgrades, testing, repairs, and initiatives.
