Job summary

Sheraton Port Douglas is seeking an AYS Supervisor to lead the Guest Services team and support daily hotel operations on site at 168-190 Port Douglas Road, Port Douglas, Australia.

You will know the hotel and local community to exceed guest expectations, assign rooms per guest requests, handle enquiries, and assist with billing accuracy while mentoring your team to grow with the brand. Working rights in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Experience with OPERA PMS or similar hotel PMS.
• Relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Enthusiastic to advance your career in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the connector and facilitator of collective power and supervise the Guest Services team, supporting your team with general operational tasks.
• Be an expert on the hotel and the surrounding community to exceed guest expectations.
• Assign rooms according to guest requests and preferences whenever possible.
• Handle general inquiries, creating meaningful guest experiences tailored to guests' requirements.
• Assist with verifying and adjusting billing for guests with attention to detail.
• Build relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service to enable future bookings.
• Oversee service standards while identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Be a confident and welcoming supervisor, empowering your team to grow.

Position Summary
