Job summary

Bankstown Sports Club is seeking a Kitchen Production Cook on a casual basis for Cornerstone Café. The role involves fast-paced production, cooking to established recipes and presenting items to high standards.

You will work 2–3 days per week with initial shifts on Mondays and Thursdays, and a roster move to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional shifts may be available during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, Production Cook or Kitchen Team Member.
• Experience working in a high-volume café, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Availability to work Mondays and Thursdays initially.
• Flexibility to move to a Monday, Wednesday and Friday roster.
• Availability for additional shifts during peak periods when required.
• Full Australian working rights.

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Production Cook to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering quality food with consistency.

Working minimum 2-3 days per week, you will support food preparation and production for Cornerstone Café, ensuring products are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard.

Initial availability is required on Mondays and Thursdays, with the roster expected to transition to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional shifts and hours may be available during peak trading and busy periods.
