Job summary

St Marys Rugby League Club in Western Sydney is seeking an enthusiastic Café Supervisor to join Milly's Café leadership team. You will lead daily café operations, mentor staff, ensure food safety and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities include barista duties, basic food preparation, managing customer feedback and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Full-time role pending experience.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated barista skills for quality coffee in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in basic food preparation and safe handling practices.
• Strong leadership to coach, motivate and manage staff.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• RSA/RCG qualifications or willingness to obtain.

• Foster a positive team culture focused on teamwork, accountability and service excellence.

Milly's Café is a popular destination for members and guests, offering quality coffee, fresh food and friendly service in a busy and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café Supervisor to join our leadership team and play a key role in driving service excellence, developing our people and maintaining high operational standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Café Manager, the Café Supervisor will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of Milly's Café.

This is a hands on leadership position where you will lead by example, maintain high standards of food safety and service, and ensure every customer receives a consistently positive experience.

We're looking for a confident and proactive leader who takes ownership, thrives in a busy hospitality environment and is comfortable working across all aspects of café operations, including coffee preparation, basic food preparation and customer service.

About You

You're a confident, hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated barista experience, with the ability to confidently prepare quality coffee in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in basic food preparation, with an understanding of food quality, presentation and safe food handling practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and manage employees.
• A genuine passion for customer service and maintaining high service standards.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to manage performance and drive accountability.
• Current RSA and RCG qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
