Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Full-time Cafe Supervisor in Barton, ACT. The role focuses on high-quality coffee, premium service, and leading barista and food service teams in a prestigious environment.

The ideal candidate will have barista expertise, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality. RSA and Food Safety certifications are preferred, with Australian working rights and a National Police Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the barista and food services operations on site.

• Manage team performance and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Deliver premium customer service to on-site employees and clients.

Full-time Cafe Supervisor

$36.18 per hour plus Superannuation

• Monday to Friday day shifts only, no weekends!

Due to business growth, we are excited to announce we are on the search for Cafe Supervisor looking for their next chapter to showcase skill and passion for premium hospitality services! Located in Barton, ACT.

THE POSITION

• Utilise your solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustment to create a variety of coffees
• Speed, efficiency and A+ quality is vital as is the ability to set, adjust, correct machine and grinder settings
• People leadership, guest service, administration and operational management
• Lead the barista and food services operations
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machine
• Providing exceptional customer service to all employees and clients on site

THE PERSON

• We’re after experienced Barista’s (true coffee connoisseurs) who are comfortable producing high-quality coffees, with speed!
• A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills and professional personal presentation
• Looking to be upskilled in managerial developments
• Excellent social skills and ability to maintain casual conversation
• RSA certified, Food Safety certification (or ability to obtain)
• Full time Australian working rights (Due to the setting of this environment the successful candidate will be required to obtain a National Police Check)
