Job summary

Eurest in Redbank, QLD is hiring a part-time Barista to join a small, friendly team. The role involves assisting front-of-house Barista and cafe service in food production areas, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen duties during peak hours.

You will operate the POS and serve barista-made coffees, with no night shifts required. The position offers 20 hours per week across Monday to Friday, benefits, and on-site work.

Qualifications

• 1 year barista experience with high-volume output (400+ coffees daily).
• Good communication skills and team-first attitude.
• Flexible, reliable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Baseline Security Clearance or ability to obtain; Police clearance may be required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

THE POSITION

• Part Time- Monday to Friday role
• 20 hours per week
• Assist front of house Barista & Cafe service in food production areas
• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation front of house
• Support with kitchen duties during peak hours
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for customer transactions
• Serve food and beverages to customers including Barista made coffees
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
• Good communication skills with a team-first mentality

THE PERSON

• Great work ethic with flexibility and willingness to multi-task
• Previous Catering Assistant experience preferred
• 1 year barista experience -400+ Coffees daily made
• Baseline Security Clearance
• Be reliable, well-organised and full of passion for what you do
• Team player and able to work autonomously
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Physically fit and reliable
• National Police Clearance
