Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a polished, customer-focused Cafe Manager to oversee a boutique café at Trinity College, Parkville, VIC. You will lead daily service, deliver excellent coffee, and maintain high presentation standards in a welcoming environment.

The role is part-time (35 hours per week across 41 weeks per year), with a Monday–Friday daytime roster and a January 2027 commencement. Relevant food safety certifications and police checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality café, premium catering or high-standard hospitality environment.
• Strong barista skills and a passion for delivering consistently excellent coffee.
• Customer-first mindset with polished communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of daily operations.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certification and the ability to obtain the required Police Check and Working With Children Check.

This is an opportunity for an experienced café or hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering excellent coffee, maintaining high presentation standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Working independently, you'll take ownership of the daily café service and ensure every interaction reflects the quality of the environment.

Please note, this position is scheduled to commence in January 2027.
