Silva Coffee Roasters in Warburton is seeking an experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a passionate team and elevate the customer experience at our flagship Warburton venue.

You will drive profitability, growth, and service excellence, while aligning with the Silva standard and collaborating with the Roastery Management team to maintain quality across the bar and cafe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years proven management experience in a high-volume hospitality venue.
• Strong front of house and floor management experience in specialty coffee or premium café settings.
• Ambition and drive to build a venue striving for excellent standards.
• Passion for specialty coffee and hospitality industry.
• Leadership to recruit, train and inspire a front of house team.
• Ability to manage budgets, labour costing, stock control and wastage.
• Proficient with POS systems and daily reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily venue operations across opening, service and closing.
• Recruit, train, roster and mentor a young, enthusiastic team to high standards.
• Build and nurture a driven work culture centered on excellence and service quality.
• Drive sales, manage budgets and achieve labour and cost targets.
• Monitor weekly and monthly performance reporting to track KPIs.
• Manage ordering, stock rotation and wastage across food, beverage and retail.
• Handle daily cash and POS reconciliation and reporting.
• Deliver a seamless, exceptional customer experience consistently.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented venue at all times.
• Uphold all food safety and compliance standards.
