Job summary

Axil Coffee Roasters in Melbourne is seeking an experienced leader to head a high-volume specialty coffee café. You will drive quality, consistency, and guest experience, pairing hands-on leadership with mentoring of your team.

You’ll collaborate with roasting and training teams, manage daily operations from service flow to inventory, and uphold Axil’s standards of coffee and hospitality. Quarterly bonuses and staff perks accompany growth within a growing brand.

We need an experienced leaders with a customer first focus that wants to go above and beyond to create great experiences for our guests.

You Should Have:

• Hands-on experience running a high-volume specialty coffee venue
• A deep understanding of coffee extraction, workflow, and dialing in
• Comfort working with high-end gear like:
• Experience with training and developing baristas, from puck prep to palate development
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to service excellence
• A willingness to lead by example on bar, on floor, and in the team dynamic
