Hole in the Wall in Byron Bay is seeking an experienced Café Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional food quality and service.

You will lead, train and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen and front‑of‑house staff; manage scheduling, inventory, budgeting and customer satisfaction; uphold health and safety standards.

This full‑time role requires weekend availability and a passion for hospitality in a fast‑paced café environment.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of experience in a café or restaurant management role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control is preferred.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café Manager to join our team in beautiful Byron Bay. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the café, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and waitstaff.
• Ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards in compliance with local regulations.

Skill & Experience

• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
• Relevant qualification in hospitality management preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
