North Lakes Hotel and Boardwalk Café is seeking a dynamic Café Supervisor / Barista to lead the team, supervise casual staff, and deliver exceptional service. The role blends on-floor leadership with hands-on barista duties in a permanent full-time position.

You will train staff, manage rosters, maintain coffee equipment, ensure food safety standards, and contribute to guest satisfaction in a busy hotel café environment.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in café/restaurant hospitality supervisory role.
• Proven barista experience with high-quality coffee production.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to supervise, support and motivate casual staff.
• Strong coffee-making skills and equipment knowledge.
• Understanding of food preparation and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support Café Manager in daily Boardwalk Café operations.
• Lead a rotating seven-day roster including weekends/holidays.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea and beverages.
• Operate, clean and maintain coffee machines and equipment.
• Assist with food prep, presentation and service as needed.
• Supervise casual staff and foster a positive team environment.
• Lead by example on the floor; maintain high service standards.
• Open/close the café as required and manage stock levels.
• Support stock ordering, rotation and waste control.
• Train onboarding staff and support ongoing development.
