Qualifications

• Previous experience in café supervision or assistant management.
• Strong barista skills with espresso machines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Café Manager with daily operations.
• Independently oversee café operations during the Manager's absence.
• Lead and supervise the front-of-house team.
• Prepare consistently high-quality espresso coffee.
• Coordinate staff and service during busy periods.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and customer service.
• Assist with staff training, rostering and operational procedures.
• Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
