House Made Hospitality in Sydney CBD is seeking a motivated Commis Chef / Chef de Partie for This Way Canteen and Apartment Room. This casual temporary entry-level role offers early starts and day shifts with weekends occasionally.

You'll work across two venues, focusing on breakfast and lunch service, preparing fresh, quality food, including pasta and sandwiches. The roster is Monday to Friday predominantly, with some weekend work.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef or Chef de Partie.
• Strong breakfast service experience is essential.
• Experience preparing pasta and quality sandwiches is highly regarded.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.
• Someone reliable, adaptable and happy to work across two venues.

Early starts. Day shifts. Nights off.

We're looking for a motivated Commis Chef / Chef de Partie to join the House Made Hospitality team, working across our two café spaces, This Way Canteen and Apartment Room.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys early mornings, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and loves the idea of finishing work with their evenings still ahead of them.

With a roster predominantly Monday to Friday, and some weekend work required, this role offers a refreshing change from the traditional hospitality schedule.

About the Role

You'll work across our two café spaces, preparing fresh, quality food with a strong focus on breakfast and lunch service.

We're looking for someone who has solid breakfast experience and, ideally, has worked with pasta and sandwiches. You'll be comfortable working at pace, maintaining consistency and taking pride in everything that leaves the kitchen.
