Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to join our Technology team in Sydney. You will drive business process improvement and operational excellence, partnering with stakeholders to map current and future-state processes using BPMN, and develop evidence-based recommendations to enable smarter decision-making.

You will facilitate workshops, develop business cases and benefit metrics, and support governance with process expertise across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, IT or related discipline.
• Experience in Business Analysis and Process Improvement in complex environments.
• Strong process discovery, mapping and BPM methodologies.
• Experience building business cases, options analyses and benefit metrics.
• Ability to challenge assumptions with evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with BPMN, Visio or similar tools.
• Experience with enterprise platforms like Dynamics 365, Workday or care management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Certifications such as ABPMP, BABOK, Lean Six Sigma are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and desired outcomes with stakeholders.
• Document end-to-end processes, identify inefficiencies and risks.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and assess needs.
• Translate requests into defined business problems and improvement opportunities.
• Create current and future-state process maps using BPMN.
• Prepare business cases, options analyses and recommendations for investments.
• Define baseline metrics and benefits realization for initiatives.
• Document business requirements, acceptance criteria and UAT scenarios.
• Support governance forums and project teams with insights and process expertise.
• Promote continuous improvement and standardisation across the organisation.
