Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to support a Local Government client in Regional Queensland (Roma). In this role, you will design and implement a Business Process Improvement (BPI) Framework, work closely with stakeholders, and facilitate workshops to document current and future state processes. You should have a strong background in business process analysis and improvement methodologies. The contract is for an initial 3 months with extension potential and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst or similar role delivering process improvement initiatives.
• Strong experience in business process analysis, mapping, and optimisation.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops and working with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Experience in local government or public sector environments highly regarded.

The role

This role will support the client in designing and embedding a contemporary, scalable Business Process Improvement (BPI) Framework. The Business Process Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to analyse current processes, design improved future-state processes, uplift internal capability, and apply the framework to a series of pilot processes. The role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency, service delivery, and consistency across the organisation.
