Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a leading global provider of access automation and entrance solutions to recruit a Business Development Manager based in Sydney.

Reporting into the national leadership team, you will drive new business growth across New South Wales through a project-driven sales approach, managing the full sales process from prospecting through tender submissions to contract negotiations and project delivery support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Business Development.
• Proven project sales experience within commercial or government environments.
• Experience selling solutions through architect, consultant, builder, or specification channels.
• Experience working on long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
• Ability to manage tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, government, and infrastructure projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, developers, builders, local councils, government agencies, and end users.
• Drive specification activity and engage stakeholders early in the design phase.
• Conduct client presentations, site visits, and solution-based consultations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender responses, and project submissions.
