Job summary

JamesVale Recruitment Pty. is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive partnerships and expand our presence in the ACT & Canberra market. You will leverage industry contacts, provide technical advice on bathroom ware, lighting and commercial products, and convert quotations into sales.

Reporting to the MD, you will manage relationships with interior designers, architects and builders, while pursuing new opportunities and delivering strong commissions and vehicle benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge in bathroom ware, lighting and commercial products.
• Experience selling into the building and construction industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional business relationships within ACT & Canberra.
• Develop business by leveraging existing contacts in the industry.
• Provide technical product advice, prepare timely quotations and close sales.

Due to a continued year-on-end success in achieving their goals, they have created a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager that can demonstrate proven success and industry experience to take the business to the next level.

The Role...

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be required to establish and maintain professional business relationships by leveraging from existing contacts within the industry. You will need to demonstrate experience with commercial products selling into the building and construction industry with a target market of Interior Designers, Architects and Builders. This will determine your success in the position, as you will be required to provide technical advice on the company’s products; while producing timely quotations and in turn executing the sale.

• Demonstrated technical knowledge in bathroom ware, lighting & commercial products.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has multiple years of experience selling into the building and construction industry.
• Strong time management, organisational and prioritising skills.
• Self-motivation, reliability and the ability to work in a remote setting.
