Job summary

Conplant Pty Ltd, a well-established Australian building systems manufacturer, seeks a driven Business Development Manager to cover the Gold Coast and southern Brisbane suburbs. You will drive growth by engaging with decision-makers in commercial and residential construction.

Read and interpret structural drawings, develop tailored solutions, and build long-term relationships with builders, developers and engineers. Travel across the region with a current Australian driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the local construction market.
• 3+ years' business development or account management experience in construction materials or related building trades.
• Proven record of managing long sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
• Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence with ability to travel regionally.
• Self-motivated with excellent negotiation, presentation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a targeted sales strategy to grow market share across multi-residential, commercial and residential projects.
• Engage architects and engineers early to specify products, then convert to head contractors and installers.
• Develop tailored solutions meeting project-specific technical and structural requirements.
• Build long-term relationships with builders, developers, engineers and key sub-contractors.
• Manage projects from concept through on-site delivery with strong client outcomes and repeat business.
• Deliver confident, executive-level presentations.

About you
