Job summary

PPD Search is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Melbourne & Victoria in the medical consumables sector. You will lead strategy, secure long‑term hospital contracts, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to tender submissions.

Build relationships with clinical and operational decision-makers, apply infection control and CSSD procurement knowledge, and collaborate with marketing, product and supply-chain teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven sales experience in medical consumables.
• Experience selling to Health Services Victoria and established relationships with Clinical Product Advisors is ideal.
• Strong knowledge of infection control, sterile services (CSSD), and hospital procurement processes.
• Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior clinical and corporate levels.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a self‑motivated and results‑driven approach.

Responsibilities
