Based in Sydney at our new, state-of-the-art premises in Yennora, we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our NSW Sales Team. You will beresponsible for protecting, growing and developing existing accounts and identifying and securing new business opportunities to maximise sales performance
You will be responsible for the following objectives:
Retain and grow existing accounts by developing tailored account plans and identifying opportunities for increased product usage.
Build and maintain influential relationships with key decision-makers, KOLs, influencers, and procurement/contract authorities.
Proactively prospect new business in both existing and untapped hospital departments.
Effectively manage your sales pipeline with opportunities across all stages to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
Launch new products and initiatives to your customer base with confidence and clarity.
Identify upcoming tender and contract opportunities and contribute to responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Utilise internal support resources to prepare accurate pricing and competitive quotations.
Apply strong time management and workload triage skills to effectively prioritise your activities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Skills and Experience:
Proven sales success in a medical and/or hospital environment, ideally with exposure to surgical or consumable products.
Sound knowledge of operating room procedures and hospital procurement processes is highly desirable.
Demonstrated territory management experience - planning, prioritising, and working autonomously
Excellent Customer engagement and relationship building skills
Customer-centric mindset and a strong desire to resolve issues; deliver a high level of customer focused service.
Agile and adaptable nature, able to work in a rapidly changing environment
Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred.
