Job description

NSW-ACT Territory Manager Infection Control
Build your career with a growing Australian medical device company

Are you an experienced medical device or healthcare sales professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for building customer relationships?

We are looking for an ambitious NSW Territory Manager - Infection Control to take ownership of a high-potential territory and drive continued growth across the medical, laboratory, CSSD, dental and podiatry sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, privately owned Australian company with a strong reputation for quality products, customer service and technical expertise.

You’ll have the opportunity to leverage an established customer base while identifying and developing new business opportunities across NSW and surrounding areas. With a significant amount of time spent in the field, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys being customer-facing, building relationships and turning opportunities into results.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for developing and growing your territory across both public and private healthcare markets.

You’ll work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including CSSD Managers, Nurse Managers, Dentists, Practice Managers, Procurement teams and C-Suite decision makers.

With strong existing brands and an established customer base, you’ll have a solid platform from which to grow the business, while still having significant scope to win new customers and expand existing accounts.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop sales across a portfolio of capital equipment and consumable products.

  • Develop and execute targeted territory business plans to achieve sales and growth objectives.

  • Build the company and its products’ presence across private and public hospital systems throughout NSW-ACT.

  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and identify solutions that improve their practice or operations.

  • Deliver product demonstrations, training and education to healthcare professionals and end users.

  • Develop strategic customer call cycles to maximise territory coverage and sales growth.

  • Coach and support end users to ensure confidence and effective use of products.

  • Identify and recommend marketing initiatives, sales strategies and process improvements to management.

  • Support the growth of the service division by identifying opportunities to include service contracts with capital equipment sales.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reporting and territory activity plans.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys managing a territory, developing relationships and delivering measurable results.

You will bring:

  • A proven track record in medical device or medical consumables sales – this is essential.

  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated territory management experience.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Sound clinical aptitude and the ability to confidently engage with healthcare professionals.

  • A strong customer-service mindset and genuine focus on delivering value to customers.

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

  • Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

  • Experience with MYOB, tender processes and sales forecasting/projections will be highly regarded.

  • A current driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively throughout the NSW territory.

Experience in sterilisation, CSSD or medical capital equipment sales will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will enjoy working in an agile, hands-on and entrepreneurial environment, where your contribution can have a direct impact on the continued growth and success of the business.

Why Join Us?

This is more than a territory sales role. It’s an opportunity to build a long-term career within a growing Australian company.

You’ll benefit from:

  • An established portfolio of respected and quality brands.

  • A strong base of existing customers and significant opportunities for further growth.

  • Competitive remuneration, including car allowance and bonus opportunities.

  • Structured training and ongoing professional development.

  • Opportunities to broaden your skills and take on greater responsibility.
