Job summary

Gough Recruitment SA is seeking a growth-focused Business Development Manager in the Adelaide market to expand the property management portfolio. The role focuses on relationship-building, leveraging warm referrals, and autonomous pipeline management with expert support from a seasoned PM team.

You will convert leads, build a referral network with brokers and accountants, and drive growth while maintaining ethical, professional relationships across the local market.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Property Management, BDM or a growth focused PM role.
• Strong relationship building and conversion ability.
• Current SA real estate registration/licensing.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline.
• Ethical, professional and relationship focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Convert warm sales leads into long term managements, with consistent referral opportunities already coming through the sales team each month.
• Build additional business through networking, database engagement and referral relationships with brokers, accountants and local contacts.
• Focus on growth and relationship management while dedicated support staff handle opens, applications, in-goings and administration.
• Operate with autonomy while still having strong support from leadership and an experienced Property Management team.

About the role
This is not a cold calling, build from scratch BDM role. The agencyalready has strong referral flow coming through their sales team, established systems in place and a highly experienced PM department supporting the growth of the portfolio. This role is not replacing anyone - its growth.
This role would suit someone who enjoys the relationship side of Property Management, values ethical business development and wants to be rewarded properly for performance.
