Job summary

Godden Food Group in Brisbane is seeking a Business Development / Account Manager to drive new business in the hospitality and catering sector. You will spend most days on the road, promoting our foodservice products with a fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance.

You will need a foodservice background, strong networks, and the ability to present and close deals. This full-time role offers weekly pay, a supportive family-owned culture, and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and passionate.
• Experience in food sales is an advantage.
• A great network of contacts would be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of food products and their application.
• Ability to solution sell and high level of presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend the majority of time on the road promoting foodservice products to hospitality and catering customers.
• Utilise a fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance to drive new business opportunities.
• Drive solution selling and grow account base in the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast region.

The position of Business Development / Account Manager at Godden Food Group is a full-time salary position. You will spend the majority of the time on the road in a fully maintained company vehicle or car allowance, solution selling foodservice products into the hospitality & catering industry as a true new business hunter.

The successful candidate will have the following requirements:

• Self-motivated, result-orientated and passionate
• Foodservice Professional e.g. barista, cook, restaurant manager or strong food knowledge
• Experience in food sales is an advantage
• A great network of contacts would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of food products and their application
• Ability to solution sell
• High level of presentation and communication skills
• Understand the importance of a safe environment
• Be flexible, adaptable & easy to train
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Great attitude
