Bolton Clarke is Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit aged care provider, supporting residents across Capella Bay in Capalaba and Moreton Shores in Thornlands. This part-time role offers 3 days per week, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, providing companionship and practical support to residents.

You will assist with mobility, outings, and daily activities, ensuring safety and high-quality service while collaborating with the Lifestyle team. A LR endorsement and background checks are required.

Competenze

• Requires LR endorsement on driver licence; MR, HR, HC & MC acceptable
• Experience with lifting equipment and assistive devices desirable
• Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
• Experience with wheelchair access vehicles and wheelchair tie down system desirable
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Police check required

The Role

In this role, you'll support our teams across two locations, Capella Bay (Capalaba) and Moreton Shores (Thornlands). This is a part time opportunity, working 3 days per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

• Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outing
• Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus
• Folding and unfolding mobility aids
• Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needs
• Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)
• Share feedback with the Lifestyle Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift
• Deliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents
• Drive in accor dance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all times

To be successful:

• Requires a minimum LR endorsement on driver licence. MR, HR, HC & MC are also acceptable.
• Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)
• Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)
• Experience with wheelchair access vehicles and wheelchair tie down system, (desirable)
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Complete a police check

Located in Brisbane's Bayside area of Thornlands, Bolton Clarke's Moreton Shores is a 120 bed Residential aged care home providing high-quality customer service and care to our customers.
